Networking and Hands-On STE(A)M Resources Event

Networking and hands-on STE(A)M exploration! Meet other members of your community who are interested in transforming STEM Education and workforce development. Share your stories and to make connections to facilitate partnership opportunities for education, business, and nonprofits. Discuss what you need and how you might be able to help and support others.
Explore some on the more engaging and meaningful STE(A)M experiences designed for 3D technology, robotics, coding, and innovation K – 12. Hands-0n experiences include: VEX IQ Robotics, 3D printing for kids, Oculus VR Experience, Puzzlets, IoT for kids, Hexbugs for engineering, robotics and coding for K – 3, Photogrammetry, Goldieblox (engineering for girls ages 4 – 9), and more.
6:00pm – 6:15: Registration and mingle
6:15pm – 6:25pm: Introduction by STAX3D
6:25pm – 8:00pm: Networking and Exploration of the various STEM activities and experiences.
This will be a very informal and hands-on community event. Come and go as your time allows.
• What to bring
Business cards to pass out, information on any STE(A)M events you would like to share, and a willingness to meet others to discuss new innovative ways we can work together to transform STE(A)M education.
• Important to knowThis is an event for adults to meet and to talk with one another. If you would like to bring our younger community members to explore and play please bring a responsible adult to watch them and help them explore.
